Introducing Jess Calvin
Hi Members, I am Jess Calvin, a member of the Executive Committee.
I am a retired fire fighter and served 47 years of front line fire and rescue.
My life started in a place called Trowbridge in Wiltshire England.
I worked in a town called Swindonas a firefighter, then in 1974 I decided to see what else the world had to offer.
I hopped on my waka (Air NZ) and flew via Singapore to Auckland.
I did a number of jobs until I got back into the fire service and stayed there until my retirement in 2016.
I have three adult children and 6 wonderful grand children.
It is a great priviledge to serve you, the members o the Club, on the Committee and help with the growth of the Club.
Please, if you see me in the Clubrooms come over, introduce yourself and have a chat with me.
